The Desert Media Art class of 2022 installed their final projects in the desert! We worked out in the dunes for a few hours before and after sunset. Each group installed their project and took some documentation that will be used for online videos and their final installation at the IM End of Semester Show.
There was a wide range of projects from wearables, to robots, to interactive light objects. The groups got to experience installing their work under the hot desert sun and warm desert night and made a unique connection to our local desert environment.
Each group will make an installation of their project at the IM End of Semester Show – December 14 3-6pm in the NYUAD Arts Center – open to the NYUAD community and by invitation.
